              1.    Specific or interesting example to prove your first point                              (assertion)

                     a.       Transition to the next main idea

III.  Second Main Idea

      A.    Topic sentence introducing the first main idea

              1.    Specific or interesting example to prove your first point                             (assertion)

                     a.     Transition to the next main idea

IV.  Conclusion

      A.     Restate main ideas in a different way (do not introduce new                     information)

Today, you need to make your very first home page POST…

We have learned the more connections our brains can make, the more interesting, relevant and fun our learning will be.  Please summarize something you have learned this week in another core class and try to connect the content together with what we are learning here in Language Arts.  Your home page is designed to communicate to your learning community what educational content has most impacted you at school in most recent days!   This first post will be a great challenge for you; please do your absolute best to establish and explain these connections!!!

A well thought out blog entry on YOUR BLOG HOME PAGE is due by Tuesday, September 22.
